Mirapex  generic Pramipexole Medication is used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s disease or Parkinson disease (PD) is a worsening of disorder in the central-nervous system which usually leads to the disorder of the motors skills, speech and other related disorder. This medication works similar to that of the dopamine which is produced naturally by the body. Mirapex meditation is also used for treating the condition that is categorized as an uncontrollable desire or restless legs and arms such as intense burning, itchy, or irritating feeling of the muscles. This medication is also used rarely for treating cluster headache.

How should I take this medication?

The patient should go for regular check –ups in order to see whether or not Mirapex Medication is performing well. Do not skip the medication. Make a regular timing for taking this medicine and if you forget to take this medication, take it immediately if there is time for your regular dose. Patient must see and track the direction given in the label of the medication. Take the drug as per the dosage and frequency suggested by the doctor. Some of the side effect of Mirapex Medication are severe drowsiness, feeling sleepy, perspiring, sensation dizziness, lose consciousness, delusions, pain or softness of muscles, fever cold, feeling weak, change of color of urine into back or dark, chest uneasiness, coughing without phlegm, breathing problem, feeling tired due to weakness, does not feel to have food, decrease of weight, abnormal heart-beat rate, uneven muscle cramp or contractions, yanking or unusual actions of eyes, lips, tongue, face, arms, or legs. Pramipexole may also show side effects such as abdominal or stomach ache, feeling of vomiting, feces may become hard or may cause pain while eliminating body waste, whirling feeling, slight hypnesthesia, swollen feet or hand, changes of appetite, unclear vision, sleeping disorder (insomnia), memory problem, strange imaginings or dreams, absent-mindedness and erectile dysfunction.  Beside this, Pramipexole (Mirapex) may also induce allergic reactions such as hives, breathlessness, swelling on face, lips, tongue, and throat.

What precautions do I need to follow while using Mirapex?

Patient should be careful while driving or in activities that need alertness and concentration as Pramipexole Drug may cause problem in thinking and concentrating. To make sure that this medication is not adversely affecting your body, make sure you arrange for regular medical checkups. Patient suffering from related liver or kidney disorder should consult the doctor before using Mirapex medication as there might be a need to adjust the dosage or perform special test to use this medicine securely.
